Daphne Jacqueline Postill is an evergreen hardy winter flowering shrub that smothers itself in clusters of small scented pale pink flowers. The scented flowers have a deliciously sweet fragrance that simply makes this gem of a Daphne one of the very best winter interest shrubs for perfume and highly prized by all gardeners for its scent. In winter the powerful fragrance is carried widely on the cold winter air and really brings the winter garden to life.

Like all other Daphne varieties, Daphne Jacqueline Postill grows best on a good loamy soil that is free draining but retains some moisture. They are excellent for chalky soils as long as extra effort is made to retain some moisture. All Daphnes prefer a partially sunny site. The best sites for your Daphne are those which are close to regularly used access points such as front doors or pathways so that the stunning fragrance is not missed.
The evergreen foliage is a shiny dark green and the eventual size is about 1.5 m x 1m in 10 years.
